Quantity Surveyor – Civils – Leicester
My client, a reputable main contractor are searching for a Surveyor/Estimator to join their team. Responsible to the Senior Estimator, you will be working within the specialist services team, which look after a variety of contracts from National Grid to BT substations.
The main purpose of the job would be:
1. To provide accurate cost estimates and supporting technical information to enable the Company to submit competitive tenders.
2. To Take responsibility for the Quantity Surveyor function on allocated contracts within the limits defined by the Senior Surveyor in order to maximise quality of services and profitability.
3. Promote the client company, its image, interest, reputation and standing within the business community.
Ideally they are looking for someone with 5 years experience, coming in the utilities/communications sector. However, if you come from a general civil's or build background, and feel you have something to offer, then we would like to hear from you.
