Site Agent - Rail – Civils – North West England
My client, a reputable national contractor is looking for an experienced Agent to join their rail division. All work will be carried out in the North West of England.
- The type of work that you will be involved in would be (not an exhaustive list):
- Platform replacement/refurbishment
- Footbridge construction
- Staircase replacement/construction
- Carriage Wash Plant construction
The ideal candidate would have 5 years experience as a Rail Agent on a variety of projects, and have a valid PTS and CSCS card. However, they would also look at candidates that have a strong civil's background and looking to get into the Rail Industry.
This is a freelance position currently, but as things progress then a permanent position maybe offered to the correct candidate.

SHEQ Manager – Civils – Nationwide
SHEQ manager (Site Based)

Our Client is currently looking for an experienced SHEQ manager to work on gas and electrical installations as part of an ongoing contract on behalf National Grid. The sites would initially be Cambridgeshire, but work may be Uk wide. You will be responsible for ensuring that SHEQ requirements are implemented on all projects, signing off SHEQ project documentation, and advising the site based team on policies and planning. Role will be on an ongoing freelance basis.
Essential Requirements
You will have a NEBOSH (general and Construction) certificate
You should also have or be working towards IOSH environmental.
Full 5 day first aid certificate
National grid Competencies
Gas sites- SHEA gas passport
Electricity sites- BESC person certificate
Desirable National Grid Competencies
Gas sites- SCO91
Electricity sites- Competent Person
All Sites- HSG47 course
TP144
(particularly Principle Contractors Representative and Temporary works Co ordinator)
